So yesterday I was feeling very experiment-y with my color palette. My good friend Cassie is the Queen of Color and is always inspiring me to try unexpected combinations. My only problem is that I'm not as good at it as her! But I'm learning. This was my first attempt which I chickened out & didn't end up wearing:
cardi: JCrew, tank: Madewell, skirt: Isaac Mizrahi for Target, shoes: Hype, jewelry: Haute Hardware
I wanted to keep the yellow/purple thing going, but decided on a more subtle approach. Maybe next time for the skirt.
cardi/tank/jewelry: same as above, pants: Zara, bag: Rebecca Minkoff, shoes: Loeffler RandallI'm interested to hear opinions on the first combo. Looking at photos now I'm actually kind of liking it more than I did initially.

I don't DIS-like the first combo, but I prefer the second one by a mile. I'm not even sure why.
I like the yellow and lavendar of the first one alot...maybe play with a lighter top/shoe?!?! But I think it's still great as is. And WHATEVAH about you+color! Everything you do rocks!
